(雪兰莪‧八打灵再也）高教部副部长何国忠指出，高教部在10天的上诉期限內，总共收到20886宗申请国立大学的上诉案。
他说，若上诉者截至7月31日没收到任何高教部或有关大学给予的回復，即表示相关申请已失败。
他週二（7月8日）受询时说，高教部正统计各大学新生报到后所剩余学额，以进一步处理这些上诉个案，预计成功上诉者將於7月中旬起陆续收到有关通知。

上诉申请转交官员处理

他说，他也已把通过马青、人联青及他的办事处提呈300份左右的上诉申请，转交给相关官员一併处理。
“这些上诉个案林林总总，每一个情况都不一样，包括申请转系和转校等。一些特殊情况的个案，如分数高但因技术问题而没获得志愿科系或学额的个案，將获得特別的处理。”
他认为，一些成绩好却因为技术问题，而进不到大学是很可惜的；另有一些学生是因为课外活动分数影响，而没有获得首个志愿科系。
另一方面，高教部长拿督斯里莫合末卡立早前表示，一般上，各大学在新生报到后会有5-10%的学额悬空。不过，热门科系如医学及药剂系的新生报到率通常都达100%。

"今年，全国20所国立大学总共录取40184名新生，若10%的新生没报到，这意味高教部將从20886宗上诉案中，遴选4018宗符合条件的申请。 "

高教部只规定没有获得大学学额的申请者，才可以提出上诉；学生在上诉时，只可选择两个志愿科系及大学。有关上诉在6月28日已截止申请。

I've made so many mistakes this year!!!

Mistake 1: I should drive more often!
Mistake 2: Should seek medical advice earlier.
Mistake 3: Should have go see dentist in January.
Mistake 4: I should go visit ----- few months ago.
Mistake 5: I shouldn't keep quiet.
Mistake 6: Should've send the application to --- even without a copy of previous application.
Mistake 7: I should have pick up yoga and swimming lesson 2 months ago.
