Unwrapping a Present

First of all, this post is slightly related to the previous post, just a bit. =)
I love shopping at TS and SgW, the fashion is cheap and nice.
*yes, yes, we already know, so please go straight to the main point!*

I think shopping at both places is fun and exciting you know, is like receiving an anonymous Christmas present and then find out who the person is, after unwrapped it under a Christmas tree.

When you know who is the anonymous and what is inside the box, your reaction will be either:
Omg! It’s from you! You’re kidding me! I love it!
OR
Hmmm, okie…..

You get what I mean? I get this kinda feeling after shopping in TS and SgW cuz most shops which sell cheap and nice fashion share the same policy- No Trying. You can’t try clothes there, don’t ever try to slip into a cardigan! Lol. So as I mentioned before on the previous entry, I bought a dress from TS yesterday. My cousin saw a black dress and showed me, I kinda like it too. (It looks nice on the mannequin!) So I took it and put it on me, stood in front of the mirror and tried to imagine how I look when I wear it. My cousins told me not bad, the shopkeeper said not bad (of course! Cuz one of her job duties is to praise customer no matter ugly or pretty =.=) and, me...Well, honestly, I thought I look weird in it cuz it’s a slightly-below-my-knee-A-Line dress which I think it will makes me look even shorter. (right?)

I bought it anyway… I was hesitate to buy it actually (I think a lot when I shop) but I need a dress for my cousin’s wedding dinner and I thought it’s not easy to find a nice dress and I always regret after I let go clothes I like, (the white ZARA pants!) plus, my cousins said I can give it to my sis if it doesn’t fit me. (omg, my cousins are evil! HAHA!joking laa, I love them okie!) And guess what, I found one shop in SgW selling many nice and cheap dresses. *thunder*

So holding the dress and buying it is like receiving a Christmas present from anonymous. I have no idea how I look when I wear it. It’s pretty fun and exiting and risky too. HAH! Is like you have no idea what’s inside the box and who sent you the present.

I washed the dress yesterday when I came back from KL and tried it in my room this evening, very excited, very kan cheong.
Here comes the unwrapping the present and find out who is the anonymous part,
When I looked myself in the mirror, my reaction was… Hmmm… okie. *paused* Omg! I think I have just wasted RM29.90!

You know I’m not from a rich family, just average. My dad’s salary is just enough to support the family basic needs and education and allowed a bit of the shopping indulgence. Ngam ngam hou. Unlike those rich brats who spend thousands of dollars just for a handbag or a blazer or a pair of shoes or whatever. So, what I’m trying to say is… RM29.90 means a lot to me okay! HAHAH!


The ruffles on the shoulders attracted me in the shop.
This dress makes me look short, and the ruffles… make me look like I’m carrying something heavy on my back. Sigh~

I send this pic together with a pic of me wearing the dress to P.Yan just now. You know what she said? She said if I added a white cloth around my waist, I would look like a maid! She even showed me a picture of a woman wearing a French maid costume! *crying hysterically* Hahaha! You see, this is what bffs are for! Tease you when you need help! LOL!

You know I’m joking right Yannie, you know I love you right? HAHAH! You see, this is what I like about P.Yan, she is honest and fun! HAHA!! Love you Yannie, we can be gay together! HAHAHAHAHA! *omg, I can’t believe I’ve just said that!* Okay, I’m straight k! I don’t wanna be gay with you anymore, I like guys, you like guys. We both love cute guys! *droooool over cute guys*

So anyway, I’m gonna send it to amend, make it few inches shorter above my knee. Sigh~ How nice if I know how to sew! So that I can save few RM for other things! Okay, I think I have to stop here cuz I wanna finish reading my Shopaholic series I bought last year (oh my laziness!!) so I can start reading the books I bought few weeks ago from the book sales!
